The Police Service Commission says 80,724 candidates have been shortlisted nationwide for aptitude test for recruitment into the Constable cadre of Police.
A statement by Head, Press and Public Relations in the Commission, Mr. Ikechukwu Ani, in Abuja on Tuesday said the aptitude test had been slated for August 3.
Ani said the test would hold in the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory.
News Agency of Nigeria recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari had mandated the Commission to recruit 10,000 Nigerians into the Nigeria Police Force.
The Commission had earlier shortlisted 210,150 applicants from 315,032 applications received at the close of its recruitment exercise on January 11.
Ani said the Commission was currently sending SMS to the telephone numbers of the shortlisted candidates, inviting them for the aptitude test scheduled to start by 8 a.m.
He urged candidates to check the comprehensive list from the Commission’s website, www.psc.org.ng or visit the Police Command Headquarters in their respective states and FCT, where the list would be displayed.
Ani warned the candidates against any form of examination malpractice, saying culprits would be punished when caught.

AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY (ABU) POST UTME FOR 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION


Ahmadu Bello University, ABU post UTME screening exercise application form for the 2019/2020 academic session is out. ABU post UTME form is now available for purchase online.
This is to inform the general public that the post UTME screening exercise of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaira for the 2019/2020 session will take place as indicated below.

Candidates That Are Eligible for ABU Post UTME Screening.

  • Candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for all courses.
  • Candidates must have chosen Ahmadu Bello University as first choice.

How to Apply for ABU Post UTME Form.

Registration for the screening exercise commences on Monday 29th July, 2019 and closes on Monday 19th August, 2019.
To register, candidates are required to log into https://putme.abu.edu.ng or click on 2019/2020 Post-UTME Registration on the Ahmadu Bello University website https://abu.edu.ng.
Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2000.00) only as screening fee.
Payment can either be made via Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, verve and Master Card) OR by printing the Remita retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceed to any commercial Bank. Candidates need not travel to Zaria to make payment.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the dates indicated above will not be considered for admission into the university during the 2019/2020 academic session.
On the day of screening, UTME candidates must come along with the print-out of their schedule slips with the uploaded passport photograph and a printout of the UTME result which must be submitted on the day of the screening.

HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR O' LEVEL RESULTS ON JAMB PORTAL.


We have been receiving series of questions for UTME and Direct Entry candidates that used awaiting results during registration on how they can upload their O’level results after they have gotten the results.


As a matter of fact, your admission may be affected if you didn’t upload your O’level results on JAMB portal. Follow the procedure below to update your JAMB profile now.

How to Upload O’Level Result on JAMB.

  1. Visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre or JAMB office or JAMB registration centre/café closest to you.
  2. Ensure you go along with a copy of your O’level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) as well as the email address you used during the online registration and your JAMB profile code.
  3. Once you get there, request for an upload of your O’level result on JAMB portal.

KSU POST UTME SCREENING BEGINS.


The management of the Kogi State University (KSU) has released the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) and Direct entry screening application form for the 2019/2020 academic session. See the requirements and how to obtain KSU post UTME form below.
This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kogi State University, Anyigba, for the 2019/2020 Academic Session and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE, that the admission screening exercise will take place between Monday, 26th to Saturday 31ST AUGUST, 2019 for both UTME candidates and Direct Entry candidates (Printouts to decide date for various candidates. The admission screening will be through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in subjects similar to their UTME subject combination
.

Candidates who made the University their SECOND CHOICE NEED NOT TO REGISTER for the Screening Exercise.
Candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public are to note that ability to read and click or move the mouse on the computer are the only requirements for the test.

KSU Post UTME Screening Exercise Eligibility.

  • Only candidates with UTME Score of 160 and above with minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in the relevant subject, including English Language (and Mathematics for programmes in Faculties of Natural Sciences, Management Sciences, Agriculture, Social Sciences and some programmes in the Faculty of Education) at not more than two sittings are eligible to attend the Screening Exercise. However, some courses required marks that are way higher than 160, it’s advisable you check ››› KSU Cut-Off Marks for 2019/2020 Admission Exercise.
  • Direct Entry Candidates should have minimum of 9 points from A’level result or its equivalent; (and minimum of “C grade” for teaching subjects in NCE) Upper Credit in OND or Lower Credit in HND.
  • Diploma must be in the course applied
Note: UTME Candidates who did not meet up with the courses they applied for are advised to effect change of course on www.jamb.org.ng as appropriate. (JAMB course combination for every course must be put into consideration). Candidates are advised to check requirements/subjects combination for their respective programmes on the portal.

How to Apply for KSU Post UTME Screening Form.

Registration for the Screening Exercise will start on Wednesday, 17thJuly, 2019, and close on Tuesday, 20th August, 2019 at midnight.
  • To register online login to the University’s portal, http://www.kogistateuniversity.edu.ng/utme and click on “Apply Now” on the Side Menu
  • Candidates are to Login with their JAMB’s UTME number as user ID (example UTME No J245521) and “password” as the password. Candidates are advised to change this password at first log in.
  • Proceed to Online Payment by Clicking on “Pay UTME Fee” link to make payment of N2000 (Two thousand naira only)directly on the portal with your bank debit card /
  • After Successful payment, proceed to complete the application form by first completing the Bio Data form and other relevant information.
  • Candidate will be required to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport photograph (file size: not more than 200KB) with white
  • After completing the application form, Preview your application to ensure the information entered is correct then click on “Submit Application”.
  • After successful submission, candidates are required to print a “Registration Slip” as a means of identification into the Computer Based Test Examination (CBT) venue.
  • Candidates are advised to strictly adhere with the Screening date as shown on their Registration Slip.
  • Candidates MUST arrive at the Professor F.S. Idachaba Lecture Theatre ONE HOUR before their Scheduled screening time to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.
  • Candidates are prohibited from coming into the Examination Hall with a mobile phone(s), flash drive, modem, writing pen, pencil and/or any electronic gadgets.

  • ALL CANDIDATES (UME and Direct Entry) must upload their O’level results on JAMB portal, before coming for the Screening Exercise
  • Candidates are expected to adhere strictly to the screening process and in case of any enquiry/assistance where necessary, candidates are to send their emails to academic@ksu.edu.ng (Ensure to quote your JAMB Reg. No. in all mails)

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released it’s 2019 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) result.
This was after the examination body made a release on their official twitter handle @waecnigeria.
The statement was signed on Thursday by the spokesperson of the board, Demianus Ojijeogu.
”This is to inform candidates and the general public that the results of the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2019 in Nigeria will be released by the Council within the next 24hours,” the official said.
The council also said candidates who are not indebted to the council will be able to access and check their results online, using the results checker pin on their smart identity cards used during the conduct of the examination.

2019/2020 KADUNA STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING & MIDWIFERY KAFANCHAN ADMISSION EXERCISE

This is to inform the general public, parents and interested candidates in the nursing profession that Kaduna State College of Nursing form is on for FREE. All applicants should note as follows.

Background of The School of Nursing

Kaduna State School of Nursing is located at KAFANCHAN Kaduna State. The School had been accepting applications from interested applicants since its establishment. More interestingly, this is perhaps the only Nursing school you can obtain her admission form for free.

College Programmes 

The following courses are offered by the College:
    1. Basic Nursing: This is a three (3) year programme. It is split into six (6) semesters.
    2. Basic Midwifery: This is also a three (3) year programme which is split into six (6) semesters.
    3. Post-Basic Nursing: This is an eighteen-month programme which is split into three (3) semesters.

    It is hoped that the College will soon commence the following courses pending the Nursing and Midwifery council’s approval:
    1. Post Basic Midwifery
    2. Perioperative Nursing

      Admission Requirement and Eligibility

      1. Candidates must have at least credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology in not more than two sittings
      2. Acceptable SSCE results are WAECNECO NABTEB, and GCE
      3. Candidates can combine WAEC with NECO, WAEC May/June with WAEC GCE or NECO June/July with NECO GCE
      4. NABTEB is also accepted, but the two (2) sittings must be NABTEB
        Only female applicants are accepted for midwifery
      5. Candidates must not be less than 17 years of age as the time of admission
      6. Applicants don't need to have written JAMB UTME before obtaining the form. 
      7. No official closing date for this form - urgently register if interested. It may close sooner.

            2. Go to Admission Page and click on Request for the free Application form 
            3. Create Account using a valid email and a password
            4. Login with your login details
            5. Fill the required fields with correct information

            8. Check the Checkbox to indicate that you have read and agreed to the above terms
